Tail Tied Rat Necklace
The Rat Bow Necklace is for those who know a rat is never just a rat—especially when it's elegantly dangling from its own tail. This little oddity effortlessly mixes the unsettling with the sweet. It’s a necklace I designed for those who appreciate the strange beauty in overlooked creatures and the peculiar charm they carry. Perfectly strange, distinctly Anomaly, and ready to hang around your neck as your newest curious companion.
Each piece is meticulously carved, cast, and finished by hand, ensuring your necklace is uniquely yours—a quiet rebellion against ordinary accessories.
Materials:
Silver Tone: White brass charm on stainless steel chain
Gold Tone: Brass charm on a gold plated stainless steel chain
Sterling Silver: All parts of the charm and chain are solid sterling silver
Gold Plate: A sterling silver rat plated in 14K gold on a sterling silver, then gold plated chain.
Diamond-set eye: One eye of the rat is set with either a black diamond or white diamond (your choice)
Dimensions:
The rat charm is 16mm or just under 3/4's of an inch tall. The chain is 16 inches at its shortest and 18" at its longest.
The base metals I use (Silver Tone and Gold Tone) are both 100% brass. White brass is a metallic alloy that is made of copper and zinc. There is no nickel in any of my jewelry. For more information on the metals I use, please see the FAQ's.
All my jewelry is hand made by me, Karen Yost, in my NYC studio at the time of purchase. Please allow up to 2 weeks for the production of your order and an additional 2-3 days for shipping if you are located in the U.S. If you need your jewelry quickly, take a look at my Ready to Ship Collection.
